If it's the same as my iPod touch, 12 months. Annoying they don't give you an 18 month warranty with an 18 month contract eh?

From experience, they'll say something woolly and non-commital about 'sorting it out' if you have a problem between month 13 - 18, then try and sell you the insurance, then tell you that you can start the insurance in month 13. Then be proved wrong by the small print.

I'd check though as o2 offer 2 years on the XDA range.

Browsing the forums waiting for my E71 to arrive.....

Just my 2p worth but surely any phone is covered by the Sale of Goods Act which gives you rights well beyond 12months to get action from whoever you purchased it from. Never ever get fobbed off with "return it to the manufacturer" and I think I'm right in saying that extanded warranties are worthless because the SoGA covers you anyway.

Well said, that man! Never forget the SoGA.

Any mobile store will return a phone to the manufacturer be repaired after 28 days. The reason given is that the phone could have been "Damaged by the customer" i.e. Liquid Damage.
